Richard J. Benevento - President
With over 30 years of experience completing transportation infrastructure improvement projects, Mr. Benevento has a diverse background in transportation planning, engineering, and regulatory permitting. While specializing in transportation infrastructure, Mr. Benevento has a broad range of experience and in-depth knowledge in all phases of design and permitting of both private development and public infrastructure projects.

Mr. Benevento is considered an expert in the public participation process. He has addressed many distinguished groups on this subject, including the American Public Works Association, and is keenly aware of the importance of community outreach. As Chairman of the City of Beverly Parking and Traffic Commission and former Chairman of the Town of Danvers Conservation Commission, he is keenly aware of the importance of community outreach and effective communication required with municipal improvement projects. He is an expert in the public outreach process and is widely recognized for his ability and effectiveness to build consensus among groups with opposing interests. He understands the delicate balance between public involvement, goal-setting, and staying within budget.
Mr. Benevento’s experience and success in securing public funding for projects has earned him the recognition as an authority on federal and state funding programs. He has assisted cities and towns throughout Massachusetts with grant and funding assistance utilizing Federal and State Aid programs, totaling nearly $100 million. (Back to top)

John L. Gaudette, LCS - Civil Engineer, Drainage, Environmental Permitting, Construction
Mr. John Gaudette has over 25 years of experience working on a variety of engineering projects as project manager, resident engineer, and designer-in-charge. He is a Licensed Construction Supervisor with extensive field experience, ensuring all work is conducted according to specifications and best practices, completed on schedule and budget, and all opportunities to minimize construction costs through value engineering. As the client’s liaison at the site, he is an effective overseer of construction efforts, responsible for organizing construction administration tasks, shop drawing review and submittal tracking. He works extensively one-on-one with contractors and field personnel. In the area of stormwater management, Mr. Gaudette remains up to date in the latest stormwater, drainage, and permitting requirements and is a certified HydroCAD operator. Mr. Gaudette’s experience also includes the preparation of proposals, qualifications, and power-point marketing presentations. (Back to top)

Michael V. Pompili, E.I.T. - Traffic Engineer
Mr. Michael Pompili has worked in the field of transportation engineering and planning for 14 years.  He has made significant contributions to both large and small scale projects for state, municipal, and private clients throughout the Northeast and Midwest regions.  Mr. Pompili’s experience includes macroscopic and microscopic modeling of intersection, arterial, and freeway operations in urban and suburban environments, signal design and optimization, roadway design, temporary traffic control, and safety assessment and improvements for roadways and pedestrian facilities.  His study experience includes corridor studies for urban arterials and freeways, traffic impact and access studies, large and small scale traffic calming, functional design reports, highway safety improvement programs, neighborhood master planning, and environmental impact assessment and mitigation through State and NEPA processes. He is committed to incorporating stakeholder input into the planning and design process and providing contextually sensitive design and multimodal accommodations.(Back to top)

Marianne Stinson, Administrative Director
Ms. Stinson has been with WorldTech Engineering since its launch. She brought with her more than 30 years of experience in human resources, accounting, and business operations. Her professional career includes leadership roles within the manufacturing and service industries. Her WorldTech responsibilities encompass the provision of administrative, human resource, and financial services. She is involved in the overall management of the company and collaborates with other staff to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the organization. Ms. Stinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Bentley University and a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University. (Back to top)
